Why Your Pub’s Beer Gas Matters More Than You Think
Quick question: when did you last think about your gas supplier?
If the answer is “never,” you’re not alone – but it might be costing you more than you think. A flat pour. A fobbing tap. A keg that’s turned because of contamination. None of that is down to bad luck. More often than not, it’s down to the gas.
That’s why we partnered with BOC beer and dispense gases – because at Langley Supply Group, we only put our name behind kit we’d trust in our own local.
Here’s what BOC beer gas brings to your bar
Consistently great pours Every cylinder is rigorously inspected and maintained to BFBI and BCGA standards, so what comes out of the tap is what you expect, every time.
Less wastage No more tipping flat, fobbed or tainted beer down the drain. Reliable gas means fewer lost pints and less money wasted.
The right gas for the job Not every drink wants the same gas. BOC’s range covers it:
- SUREGAS® CO2 – pure food grade carbon dioxide, ideal for lagers and ciders
- SUREMIX® 30 – a nitrogen/CO2 blend built for ales and stouts, reducing fobbing and giving a creamier, longer-lasting head
- SUREMIX 60 – a CO2/nitrogen mix for highly carbonated lagers and ciders, for a faster pour and a stable head
A safer cellar BOC provides carbon dioxide monitors, safe handling advice for your team, and online safety training – so your cellar is as well looked after as your bar.
Gas when you need it Order online 24/7, with delivery typically the next working day. No more running dry on a busy Saturday night.
Savings that scale Multi-buy discounts on SURESERVE® cylinders mean the more you order, the more you save.
